Mateusz Motyka
Mateusz Motyka is a film director, screenwriter, and lecturer at the Warsaw Film School in Poland. He previously studied literature at UiT in Tromsø, Norway, and graduated from film school as the co-director and co-writer of the feature film "The Land" (Chapter: "Supermarket"), available worldwide on Netflix. A recipient of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage's "Young Poland" scholarship, Mateusz has also participated in the Camerimage Talent Demo mentoring program with Rodrigo Garcia ("Six Feet Under") and Fred Berger ("La La Land"). Additionally, he has been awarded the Mazovia Film Commission Film Mentoring Scholarship and has received honors at national screenwriting festivals such as Script Wars and Script Fiesta. A passionate fan of genre cinema, Mateusz continues to explore and contribute to the world of film through his creative endeavors and mentorship.
