Alex Noyer

Raised in a Finnish art and media family, Paris-born Alex Noyer, studied advertising in London and ultimately joined the world of story telling through art when he co-founded You Know, an innovative agency with a focus on film and video. Upon creating the short piece, A Conversation With Julian Schnabel, which successfully screened at Art Basel before touring museums and galleries worldwide, Noyer subsequently, conceived, produced and released two more conversation pieces (with Peter Halley and HC Berg) with global review. Noyer went on to write and produce the feature documentary New York Influence City, featuring artists including Ross Bleckner, Ann Craven, Jacob Hashimoto, Peter Halley, Donald Sultan, Ryan McGinness, and Tony Oursler, with an international television premiere on SKY Network followed by PBS. This lead to the development of ‘808', the acclaimed documentary film which tells the legendary story of the TR808 drum machine, featuring the likes of Phil Collins, The Beastie Boys, Pharrell Williams, Diplo, New Order, Fatboy Slim, Questlove, Rick Rubin and more. 808 became the first music documentary aquired by Apple Music. With over 15 years of storytelling experience and a lifelong passion for genre films Noyer set out to direct innovative thrillers and horror film such as his upcoming eco-horror feature 'Sielu' and the genre bending short horror film 'Conductor'. Noyer lives with his family in Los Angeles.
