The Argentine Film Critics Association is an organization of Argentine-based journalists and correspondents that presents the Silver Condor Awards honoring achievements in Argentine cinema. These awards are considered Argentina's equivalent of the Academy Awards. The organization was established on July 10, 1942, with annual awards beginning in 1943.
