Synopsis

On a deserted train station platform, bathed in a pale light, a young man waits for his subway. The silence is heavy, only broken by the wind’s breath and the crackle of his music player. Suddenly, the device explodes in his hands, throwing sparks into the darkness. An invisible tension settles, as if something, somewhere, is watching him. In the shadows, a vending machine appears where there had been nothing before. Its neon lights flicker faintly, drawing his gaze, stirring a sudden, uncontrollable hunger. He approaches, slips in a coin, and waits for his due... In a world enslaved by consumerism, some payments demand more than money...
