Stefano Pennisi
Stefano Pennisi is an independent film Director and Producer based in Brooklyn, New York.
Stefano’s debut short film, 'The Fisherman', a visual poem known for it's atmospherical beauty, earned widespread recognition, screening at festivals such as the SoHo International Film Festival, BFI Future Filmmakers, and the Zero Film Festival. The film won the Grand Jury Award at Zero Film Festival and garnered nominations for Best Cinematography and Best Director at the SoCal Creative and Innovative Film Festival.
His second short film, 'Blue Bison', a crime thriller Co-Directed with Camrus Johnson, premiered at renowned festivals like Hollyshorts, the Portland Horror Film Festival, and the Academy Award-qualifying festivals Cleveland International Film Festival and Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival. Blue Bison also won the Best Thriller Short at the Cordillera International Film Festival, cementing Stefano’s reputation as a rising talent in genre filmmaking.
In addition to his work in film, Stefano is the co-founder of the popular YouTube channel 'How to Drink', which boasts over 1.7 million subscribers. He has also spent over 15 years in the advertising industry, directing and producing for major global brands across all media platforms.
