Simon Birman

Simon Birman always wanted to tell stories through moving images. In the 1990s, he discovered cinema on VHS and developed a passion for genre films and visual storytelling. Now based in Paris, he is preparing to shoot his next horror short film, L’Œil Gauche, while also working on several other horror film projects. In addition to his career as a director, Simon is an accomplished editor who has collaborated with international filmmakers such as Sharunas Bartas and Amos Gitai. The films he has edited have been selected for prestigious festivals like Cannes, Berlin, and San Sebastián.
