Molly Brown
Molly Brown has made more than 100 zero-budget short films and/or animations, with her work included in more than 350 screenings, including Official Selections in film festivals in the U.K., Germany, Austria, Canada, the U.S., Australia, Serbia, Italy, Brazil, Poland, and France, and awards including the Golden Trellick for Best Comedy at the 2018 Portobello Film Festival. Her work has also been included in the "Housewarming Party" at Tate Britain, London, in 2013; an installation of one-minute films at the Stadtmuseum Aarau in Aarau, Switzerland in 2015; the "Usurp Art" Event at the Experimental Art Gallery at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi, India, March, 2016; the Two Minute Film Festival at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A., July, 2016; and an exhibition of video art at the OGA Gallery in Rome, Italy, July-August, 2018. In March, 2019, she became the first recipient of the Kino Independent Achievement Award at The People's Film Festival in London. In November, 2020, two of her films were included in a "Best Of" compilation of shorts from the 2020 Portobello Film Festival broadcast on a local television station, London Live TV, and another of her films was broadcast on London Live TV in 2022.
