Léonie Savard

After developing an artistic chemistry with many of the teachers who instilled in her a passion for cinema at Cégep de Saint-Félicien, Léonie Savard decided to pursue higher education in animation. A bachelor's student in the art and science of animation since 2024, the emerging director is passionate about the medium and hopes to make it her profession. With a particular interest in frame-by-frame puppet animation, she enjoyed festival success with her first pixilation shorts, Antitutoriel. The worlds she creates are tinged with a strange, offbeat sense of humor.
