Carla Gobe

Carla Gobe (Barcelona, 1992), began her journey into the film industry world in 2011, participating in various projects in the city, with her most notable work being “Ciutat Esperança”, a social project formed by young people from the neighbourhood of Ciutat Meridiana (Barcelona) who through film have covered social topics such as, teenage pregnancy in the short film “Un Instant” (2014), judges’ prize winner at the BCNZoom Festival 2015, and bullying in “Historia de muchxs” (2016). In 2017 she created the audiovisual association “La Meri Productions” where she works as editor. The same year she moved to Madrid to train to be a scriptwriter and film editor at the Madrid Film Institute. There she directed her first short film “Instinto” (2018) and she wrote the short films “Si, quiero”, “A Dieta” (2019), the feature film “Haram” (2021) and edited various other short films, all produced by the Madrid Film Institute. After completing her studies her key achievements include working as scripwriter for the Youtube channel “Draw my life” (2019) and editing the short film “Fuego al agua” (2020). “No Clickbait” is her first short film both written and directed by herself. -- Carla Gobe (Barcelona, 1992), comenzó su andadura en el mundo audiovisual en 2011, participando en varios proyectos en la ciudad condal, donde destaca el trabajo del grupo “Ciutat Esperança”, proyecto social compuesto por jóvenes del barrio de Ciutat Meridiana (Barcelona) que a través del audiovisual trabajaban temas sociales, como el embarazo adolescente con el cortometraje “Un Instant” (2014) premio del jurado del Festival BCNZoom en 2015 o como el bullying con “Historia de muchxs” (2016). En 2017 creó la asociación audiovisual “La Meri Productions” donde trabaja como editora. Ese mismo año se traslada a Madrid para formarse como guionista y montadora en el Instituto del Cine de Madrid. Allí dirigió su primer cortometraje “Instinto” (2018) y escribió los cortometrajes “Sí, Quiero”, “A Dieta” (2019), el largometraje “Haram” (2021) y monto varios cortometrajes, todos producidos por el Instituto del Cine de Madrid. Una vez finalizados sus estudios destaca sus trabajos como guionista del canal de Youtube “Draw my life” (2019) y el montaje del cortometraje “Fuego al agua” (2020). “No Clickbait” es su primer cortometraje, escrito y dirigido por ella.
