| Stéphane Turgeon Stéphane Turgeon is a screenwriter and director. With a bachelor’s degree in communications, he completed a certificate in screenwriting at UQAM in 2017 and will continue his screenwriting training at INIS in the Fiction – Cinema and Series program in 2025–2026. He recently collaborated on the screenplay for André Forcier’s feature film Ababouiné and also conceived and wrote the short series Adieu Sérénité (directed by Mariane Roy), which won the 2024 Kino-FIP Grant. As a filmmaker, he wrote and directed the short films Fuel, Le cri, Après-ski, and Entrevues en série: Patrick Bateman, which have been screened at numerous international festivals. He has also written short films for emerging directors: Colas Besnard (Men’s Room), Andréanne Poisson-Robert (Écoute-moi!) and Jonathan Asselin (Retenue). His favorite genres are fantasy comedy, thriller, horror, and sometimes even trash cinema. |
