Synopsis
"Normal" is a short animation that explores societal norms. It begins with a door opening to a cafe-teria where people dine in a reversed manner—seated upside down, eating in an unconventional way. Yet, no one questions it. Everything appears normal. This animation challenges the viewer to reflect on the arbitrary nature of normality. What we define as "normal" is often shaped by societal expectations and the comfort of the majority. At just 1 minute and 44 seconds long, Normal is deliberately brief—designed not to provide an-swers, but to spark thought. By presenting a world where everyday customs are turned upside down, the animation invites audiences to reconsider the societal norms they take for granted. It en-courages reflection on inclusivity and the acceptance of diversity—reminding us that what is normal in one world may be entirely abnormal in another.
