Victor Matellano

VÍCTOR MATELLANO, born in Madrid, is a film and theatre director, screenwriter and film writer, member of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
As a film director, after numerous short films such as Tío Jess and La cañada de los ingleses, selected for the Goya awards, he debuts in the field of feature films with the documentary Zarpazos! Un viaje por el Spanish Horror featuring Joe Dante, Colin Arthur and Paco Plaza among others. His first fiction feature, released internationally, is Wax, starring Jack Taylor, Geraldine Chaplin and Jimmy Shaw. Vampyres is his second feature film, also released internationally, starring Caroline Munro. Stop Over in Hell is his third feature film as a director, starring Enzo G. Castellari among others.
In 2019, he releases the documentary Regresa El Cepa, which deals with the circumstances of the film El crimen de Cuenca by Pilar Miró. And in 2021, he participates as director and executive producer in the horror anthology feature film, Vampus Horror Tales.
Mi adorado Monster (2022) is his seventh and last feature film released to date.
