Tom Doughty

Tom Doughty, born and raised in Ontario, is a director, writer, actor, composer and has been making films for over 20 years. What began as a hobby with friends in middle school turned into high school productions, animations, original music, short films, animated films, and more. He is a fan of cinema in general, but holds a special place in his heart for one particular genre: horror. He finally achieved his dream of directing his own horror feature with 'To Keep Her'. He believes cinema, above all things, should be fun for the audience. This was the goal when writing, producing, casting, scoring, directing, and editing 'To Keep Her'. His first film, Ascentrium, was an animated sci-fi feature accepted into the Toronto Lift-Off Festival, the Ufology and Paranormal Phenomena International Film Festival, and the Sci-Fi & Fantasy: Genre Lab - Presented by Lift-Off Global Network.
