Pardeep Sahota

Pardeep Sahota is an award-winning writer/director with over 14 years of experience in commercials. He has won 3 Clio awards and the British Arrows - Emerging Talent - Gold Award 2022. His passion has always been storytelling and film. His award-winning short film series Bleeding Art, was Official Selection at Slamdance Film Festival 2020. He was the recipient of the B3 Media Associate Artist Award 2021. He is a member of BAFTA Connect and a mentor for Arts Emergency. He has sat on the jury for Young Arrow Awards and Royal Television Society Craft Awards in 2022. Last year he was a Shadow Director on the RTS award winning BBC Studio’s feature film The Primrose Railway Children under BAFTA & Emmy winning director Julian Kemp.

His most recent short film OK/NOTOK is in submission at festivals. OK/NOTOK has its World Premiere at Oscar & BAFTA qualifying Leeds International Film Festival. At its second screening and London Premiere at the inaugural Picturehouse Create it won the Audience Award 2025. Academy & Emmy Award winning Cinematographer Robert Elswit (Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, Ripley) has said of OK/NOTOK "Fantastic...Impressive...Wonderfully inventive and emotionally compelling storytelling" Alex Cox, director of Repo Man described the film as “excellent!”.
