Shane R. Preston is a Toronto picture editor and independent filmmaker. He has worked as an editor on several indie feature films, including: Witches X, The Legacy of Cloudy Falls, A Hundred Lies and Neon Lights.

In 2023, Shane returned to the director's chair to make Cereal: a tongue in cheek, horror short-film which had a successful run in the genre film festival circuit. His follow up, The Listener, is a stripped down story made on a modest budget. Shane is currently prepping his biggest directorial venture yet, a buddy slasher film titled: From the Ashes.
