Lee Bailes

An English writer and filmmaker living in Stockholm, Sweden. A former film critic / reviewer; a writer and producer, working in the corporate arena by day (writing e-learning courses and producing media for blue chip international organisations, governments and high street brands over the last 17 years), and self-taught guerrilla filmmaking by night. Lee gave up on filmmaking nine years ago (due to the disappointment of various Hollywood Script options and projects falling through), focussing on writing and screenwriting. On meeting Darwin at a writing group in Stockholm, he later co-wrote DON’T FORGET TO BREATHE, and was convinced to re-enter the world of Filmmaking. After the gruelling filmmaking education which became the award-winning, short horror film MR CLEAN, Lee wanted to tackle a smaller, fun, bite-size, comedy horror project this time around. Something that was quicker to turn around, and to provide a greater opportunity to integrate a blend of special effects into his filmmaking projects. And what better than tackling a fun project with Hasse, after they both worked together on SVEN GUNNAR. The duo have two more similar fun, comedy horror projects in the works.
