The resilience
Synopsis
A young seamstress experiences a physical nightmare when a cockroach invades her ear, triggering a physical and mental metamorphosis. Between horror and transformation, her survival instinct is pushed to the limit. What doesn't kill... mutates.
For the seekers of the visceral and the profound. If you are a fan of the body-horror masteries of David Cronenberg (The Fly) or the unsettling, feminine psychological descent in Julia Ducournau’s Raw, this film is for you.
"Resilience" is crafted for viewers who love the Kafkaesque aesthetic of a transformation that is as intimate as it is monstrous. It is for those who appreciate sensory cinema where the sound of a needle through fabric and the scuttle of an insect are as terrifying as the visual mutation itself.
If you believe that horror is the ultimate canvas for exploring human identity, and you enjoy films that leave a lingering, "itchy" feeling long after the credits roll, you are the audience for Dolores’s metamorphosis.
