Synopsis
Short film visualising the divine visions of the renowned German nun Hildegard von Bingen born in 1098 who invented languages, composed music and made discoveries in natural science seemingly bestowed upon her by God in a period of time when this was forbidden for women. She was a writer, philosopher, female trail-blazer and mystic. What did she see? This abstract film work was commissioned by Filthy Lucre funded in part by Arts Council England.
