Tears of blood you cry - said he
Synopsis
The main character is in the dark searching for a way out. But all he is offered is the pointless struggle to achieve obvious things way too late and at too high a cost, which makes them lackluster, not worth trying, and ultimately useless and devoid of any value. He is forced to watch the catholic way to nowhere, and then he rejects the religious system they're trying to impose, because it's built on death, suffering and corpses, and it's only seemingly welcoming and promising. When you look deeper it's just an empty space full of rotting Christs and buzzing flies. The Christmas theme in the beginning shows just that. A cheap circus based on promises in which they want you to dance. Shiny lights, overpriced shitty food, plastic love, Santa Clause, his reindeer, and selfie boxes, but the most important thing is the Ferris wheel (because Jesus was born under one, I guess). Then when you analyze it, it's just a facade built around the idea of rebirth from the ashes, skulls and bones which they created themselves. But rebirth, as they understand it, is based on pain, struggle, and taking a role of a clown in their play in which the character has no interest, because for Him it is not an option. So he rejects it, says fuck you all, and evolves in the opposite direction where there are no such things as martyrdom, or celebrating dead prophets. There's life, flesh, joy, and peace.
