Murderkino: Geisterklo
Synopsis
In the midst of a film screening, sometimes you gotta use the klo. Pedro (Pedro Müller), a Lacanian psychoanalyst, is the first to unwittingly step into this terror ride of toilets. “The Smell” (Scott Clifford Evans), an alcoholic ex-professional wrestler, and a local record label owner (Thomas Brandstätter), soon follow, both unaware that this bowel movement may be their last. A psychopathic cult member (Michele Pagel), a toilet that won’t flush, showers of blood, a toilet “snake,” and a klo with a mind of its own await any who dare enter the Geisterklo! About the Murderkino project: Murderkino (2019–) is a "no budget" art/trash/horror film and installation project. Each segment/episode can be taken alone or combined with others for a weird revue that tells a convoluted Viennese story filled with slapstick, excess, the occult and macabre. Scott Clifford Evans oversees the project, but it is only possible through collaboration with many hardworking, Vienna-based artists and one Estonian. Each segment gathers a wide variety of talents and materials to culminate in video, installation, and photographic work that is "trash" in both aesthetic and content. Analyzing the horror genre by playing with horror film tropes through story, performance, and camera, Murderkino serves as an evolution of the art-trash film, a Gesamtkunstwerk par grotesque.
Murderkino: Geisterklo (2022) is a 00:18:29 horror short film by Scott Clifford Evans (Austria). In the midst of a film screening, sometimes you gotta use the klo.
