Synopsis

During Holy Week in Seville, a religious procession turns into a nightmare when an infected penitent unleashes chaos among the crowd. As the city collapses into a stampede of blood, fire, and terror, Rafael, the foreman of the Virgin’s float, refuses to abandon it in the street. Alongside the costaleros who still have the courage to stay, he tries to carry it to the parish church, crossing an apocalypse of possessed bodies and broken faith. But when a monstrous creature blocks the entrance to the temple, Rafael understands that saving the others will demand his own sacrifice. The liturgy is no longer a symbol: it becomes flesh. - En plena Semana Santa sevillana, una procesión se convierte en pesadilla cuando un nazareno infectado desata el caos entre la multitud. Mientras la ciudad cae en una estampida de sangre, fuego y terror, Rafael, capataz del paso de la Virgen, se niega a abandonarla en mitad de la calle. Junto a los costaleros que aún conservan el valor, intentará llevarla hasta la parroquia, atravesando un apocalipsis de cuerpos poseídos y fe rota. Pero cuando una criatura monstruosa bloquea la entrada del templo, Rafael comprende que salvar a los demás exigirá su propio sacrificio. La liturgia deja de ser símbolo: se hace carne.
