Synopsis

Prequel to the folk tale "Mateo Txistu". Basque Country, end of the 19th century. In a small village, the parish priest Mateo disappears without a trace. In response to the gossip of the villagers, the Archbishopric sends two priests to investigate the truth of the facts.
