Furr's Oppen

Synopsis

This film was inspired by the iconography in the 1950s experimental filmmaker Maya Deren's oeuvre: hooded figures, mirrors, and birds. We captured footage related to these themes on an iPhone 8 over the course of 10 days in Berlin and Prague. The order of the footage was then randomly determined. The soundtrack was produced through a different chance experiment that involved continuously layering a single track.
