Synopsis
After a day of boozing and cruising, narrowboat novice and his craggy, veteran ‘engine whisperer’ regale Gabe’s uptight school friend with a litany of toilet horror stories that draw a stark line between the haves and the have nots on the London canals. Faecal Beast is a scatological comedy that gleefully punctures landlubbers’ romantic notions of boat life and pays loving homage to Steven Spielberg’s ‘Jaws’. You’ll never go up the canal again!
‘Faecal Beast’ is a scatological comedy about gentrification and constipation on the London canals. A combination of ‘Withnail and I’, ‘Jaws’, and THAT bedsheet scene in 'Trainspotting', ‘Faecal Beast’ is for fans of cockney rhyming slang, the 70's widescreen aesthetic and crude toilet humour.
