His original compositions have been recorded and released on Sony, Elektra, Rykodisc, New World, Cantaloupe and Rarenoise, and he has appeared in most of the major publications of the world as well as in numerous books on music. Soundtrack/acting credits include work for Robert Altman and Saturday Night Live. Recent soundtracks include Andrea Kleine’s “The End is Not What I Thought it Would Be” which premiered at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in 2022. He leads a plethora of ensembles in concerts around the world from his instrument, the drums.
