Angels

Synopsis

Beulah has almost given up. Her mother, Lottie, is so sick she won't eat, the sore on Lottie's arm is getting worse, and their farm can't keep up with the pile of medical bills.
One day, a meteor falls from the sky and lands in their fields. When Beulah goes to investigate, she finds a strange creature—a tall and beautiful thing—dead in the crater.
When Beulah touches the body, a cut on her hand heals and an identical cut appears on the hand of the creature.
Beulah takes the creature home and puts it in her bed. Unable to watch Lottie live in pain any longer, Beulah wheels her mother into her bedroom. The creature is awake, towering over them, mesmerizing and horrific. Beulah quickly puts her mother's hand on the creature’s leg, and it passes out.
The creature wakes up to a strange sound. It lies in Beulah's bed with Lottie is sitting next to it.
Lottie's hair is darker and the sore on her arm is almost completely healed. The creature looks at its arm— it's developing the same open sore Lottie had. It can barely breathe. There's a chain around it's wrist.
It realizes where the sound is coming from as it turns and sees Beulah attaching the other end of the chain to the wall.
Suddenly, the sky illuminates with meteors and the creatures cries out. Beulah stares out the window at the ominous scene, terrified awaiting what will happen next.
