The 21st Annual South African HORRORFEST - Hal l oween Season 2025 - 29 OCTOBER - 9 NOVEMBER The South African HORRORFEST is the longest running and only event of its kind in the country (if not the continent) featuring new, classic and rare movies, premieres, advannce screenings, short films, dark literature, a live silent film soundtrack performance, Halloween dress-up, speciall 16mm film screening, give-aways and more. The majority of the movie selections will have their South African / Africa premieres at the Horrorfest. (Cinema shows only, no virtual on-line chapter) Full festival line-up and booking will be updated HERE as they're confirmed. In-person screenings will happen at the independent Labia Theatre in Cape Town (Orange Street, Gardens) across 29 October to 9 November, keeping the cinema experience spirit alive! Pre-events will include the free advance screening as a warm-up with SHELBY OAKS on 22 October as well as SATAN'S SLAVES on 26 October. The first Horrorfest Pub Quiz will happen on 28 October at The Armchair Theatre.
