Simon Plante

After completing his baccalaureate in Film Studies at the Université de Montréal, Simon began a career as a cameraman on television sets. At the same time, he developed his skills as a director by making short films for no money. In 2012, he directed the short film STEREO, which was presented at Fantasia Fest in Montreal. In 2019, he directed a documentary film shot in West Africa, POUR NE PLUS MOURIR, which was selected for several festivals around the world. In 2024, his short film LA CONSOLE is again selected for Fantasia Fest. He is currently working on a documentary filmed in Iceland, and on the script for his next horror short.
