Robbie Ward
Robbie Ward is an illustrator, animator, composer, and author from Colorado. He wrote, performed and art directed for the Nashville electronic rock band DEDSA for several years while honing his illustration technique. His hand drawn animated videos have been screened at film festivals around the world, the most recent of which, Annihilation, received the Award for Best Animated Film at the Ann Arbor Film Festival. Robbie is inspired by monster movies, medieval art, and classic cartoons, with a passion for the work of William Blake, Maurice Sendak, and Ul de Rico. He can usually be found happily at work in his studio with his trusty cat Boba.
