Rich Rose

Rich is a UK-based writer-director with a taste for darkly comic genre stories that twist from the mundane to the monstrous. His 2024 short It’s Really You—a romantic exorcism drama—won the Audience Award for Best International Short at Nevermore Film Festival and screened at FrightFest, Chicago Horror Film Festival, and Spooky Empire, among others. His earlier shorts Prey (2023) and Peek-A-Boo (2022) also found recognition on the horror circuit, with selections at festivals including Lit Scares, Horror Unleashed, and Sussex International Film Festival. Her Love is his latest: a black comedy-horror about motherhood, grudges, and the squirming creature inside us all. He is currently developing his debut feature, a bleakly funny story about masculinity, failure, and getting repeatedly punched in the face by your dad.
