From there, she co-directed Summer Sky, which was featured at the British & Irish Film Festival in Luxembourg. In addition to directing, Paula has worked on several other short films as a writer, producer, cameraman, and editor. Her work includes Countdown and Zoo Station: The Story of Christiane F., among others, which have all been featured on several film festivals around the world. Her micro-short, Stephen King: Carrie, has recently won "best book trailer" award in a national competition held by the Croatian Ministry of culture and media. She has also worked as an extra and day player on films like Smrt djevojčice sa žigicama by Goran Kulenović and Run by Uwe Boll, gaining a well-rounded understanding of how films come together from multiple angles.
