Marçal Olivé

Marçal Olivé, Barcelona (1994). He has always liked watching movies and reading about cinema, but it was in 4th grade when he directed his first short film and there, he discovered that he also liked making movies. He studied Image and Filmmaking Lab for three years at the ITES school. There he began to develop his style, but it wasn't until he started the Film Directing Career at FXAnimation & Film School where he exploited his style when it came to directing and writing. He has always been mostly into science fiction/action with a touch of humor. A good example of his style is the fake trailer “Escuadrón Mortal” (2017), from the webseries Entre Paréntesis the chapter Licencia para escribir (2018) and the short Insert Coin (2019). At the same time, he is working on the script of his fiction feature film “El fin del invierno”. He is currently teaching film classes at FX BCN FILM SCHOOL.
