Lucas Crawford
Lucas Crawford is a poet with five books under his extra-long belt, including Muster Points (U of Calgary Press, 2023). He's an intermittent short filmmaker and wannabe song-maker who has recently been Musician in Residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts and whose earliest video-poem, "Threadbare," made the queer festival rounds in 2012 (including screenings at Frameline). He is from rural Nova Scotia, and currently lives in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada), where he works at the University of Alberta's Augustana Campus as "Canada Research Chair in Transgender Creativity and Mental Health."
