Josie Colt

Josie is a Portland Based artist and community organizer with a love for visual storytelling. Their animation has appeared in several music videos and short films, two of which were award winning. Josie enjoys bringing people together to make art in community spaces such as Congress Square Park, and connecting with the breadth of talented people living within the area. Josie was thrilled to direct her first film and be included in the stellar lineup of Damnationland, Portland’s freakiest film festival, this fall. She is excited to create more experimental films in the future, with an emphasis on combining stop motion animation, live action and puppetry.
