Jono Hunter

A director, writer, performer, and producer known for his versatile, comedic storytelling. Jono forayed his training at Second City, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and Humber College into a career directing commercials and short films, earning approving nods from festivals like Cannes (where he won a Bronze Lion and a Young Director Award), Dances with Films, ImagineNATIVE, Just for Laughs, and the Academy Award qualifying ANIMATOR festival in Poznań. His film, Modern Classic, won Best First Feature at the 2017 Canadian Film Festival and season 2 of his award-winning animated web series, Night Drives, has been making waves in festivals worldwide.
