Joaquín Hermo

Nacido en Buenos Aires en 1995, Joaquín Hermo es un director, guionista, montador y productor que reside en Madrid, donde realiza proyectos cinematográficos como La Peor de tus Noches, El Último Blockbuster o La Pandilla. Destacan también los cortometrajes documental Un Verano en Madrid y Argentina o la web-serie Vodevil de Variedades, la cual ha dado pie a Vodevil en la Gran Ciudad y a MAL, sus últimos cortometraje como director. Actualmente se encuentra preparando Un Hurra Ante el Ocaso, su primer largometraje. Es además el creador del Joaquín Film Festival, un festival de cortometrajes autogestionado que se celebra cada año en un lugar distinto y cuyas ediciones suelen ser diferentes entre sí: ha habido proyecciones que han tenido lugar con música en directo o en un autobús en marcha mientras iba recorriendo Madrid. ------- Born in Buenos Aires in 1995, Joaquín Hermo is a filmmaker, screenwritter, editor and producer who currently lives in Madrid, where he made short film projects such as The Worst of Your Nights, The Last Blockbuster or The Gang. Other notable projects includes the short film documentaries such as A Summer in Madrid and Argentina or the web series Variety Vaudevil wich lead to Vaudevil in the Big City and EVIL, his latest short films as a filmmaker. He´s currently develloping A Hurrah Through the Twilight, his first feature film. He is also the creator of the Joaquin Film Festival, a self-managed short film exhibition held each year in a different location and whose editions are often unique: there has been editions with live music or in a moving bus touring Madrid.
