Jake Valentine
Greetings from Quebec, Canada ! 🇨🇦
My name is Jake Valentine, I am 27 years old and I'm a brand new French-Canadian filmmaker. I am also Journalist and Movie Critic for Extreme Cinema Reviews and TVQC.
I've written and directed "SLUT" from the controversial horror anthology "Phallacies The Movie" which is a global collaboration between 11 most outrageous filmmakers, and DEFILED from Phallacies The Movie's sequel : ANALOGIES The Movie.
I'm also the Writer/Director and Main Antagonist of "Extreme, Vile & Raw", which is intended to be the most extreme canadian film with the premises of bringing the audience to the closest dark web experience they can get. Many youtubers & podcasters talked about it and the film is on a list of the most anticipated horror movies of 2025 on IMDB. A shocking World Premiere sneak peek was screened in canada on February 2025 in Montreal, Canada and people were left flabbergasted and shocked.
What do I like about my art?
I don't do movies to make money or to gain any types of fanbases or clout. I do movies because I have things to discuss, things to express, things to evacuate from my heart, mind and soul. My cinema is meaningful, dark, controversial, graphic, bizarre and surreal. I love my art because I'm putting on the screen things that either discourage me or things that I wish I could change about the world we live in. So much violence, hate and distress took over the recent years in modern society that I can't stay there and do nothing. I have to talk about it. To express it. To visualise it in such a radical and extreme way that it would actually strike people so much that it would make people think and spark discussions and respectful debates about it. I love my cinema because I feel it and I mean it and I believe that when an artist pours their personal meaning or emotions into their art, it becomes evident in the final piece and people will be focused enough to feel the raw emotions and depth of their work.
