Héctor Dávila Cabrera

Héctor Dávila studied film in Mexico City. He is an animation director, painter and illustrator who works in various media. He works mainly in traditional 2d animation using painting, pencils, watercolors, pastels and digital tablet. He has also worked in stop motion, mixed media, and live action film. Some of his animation films include titles such as: “Silence at Sad Hill”, “Ultima Estacion”, “A day in the Park”, “Puss on Botox”, "Los Cuervos", among others. They have been shown in festivals such as: Rotterdam Film Festival, Wintherthur Film Festival, La Havana Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, Linoleum Film Festival El Cairo Morelia, and many more.
