Gordon Phillips

Gordon Phillips is an emerging filmmaker making his directorial debut with the short film “The Itch.” Born and raised in rural south Georgia, Gordon developed a passion for storytelling at a young age, writing horror stories and experimenting with photography and video. After a 20-year career as a trailer/promo editor in Los Angeles working on everything from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Dark Knight Rises, he decided to pursue a lifelong dream of directing. Drawing on his years-long understanding of pacing and visual composition, Gordon’s first film showcases his desire to craft suspenseful, character-driven stories.
