Francesco Loi

Born in 1984 in Cagliari, Italy, Francesco is a writer, director and editor based in Stockholm since 2011. He has a BA in Communication Science from IULM University, in Milano and in 2010 he attended CECC film school in Barcelona. Freelancing since 2007, Francesco had the privilege to work with and learn the craft from one of Italy’s finest directors, Ermanno OImi. Francesco has written and directed a number of short films in Sweden and Europe, specializing in documentary editing. He has also worked as a film editor on projects such as Avicii: True Stories and maintains an ongoing collaboration with director Erik Gandini. He is currently writing and producing his first feature film, a co-production between Sweden and Italy.
