Elif DOKUR

She was born in Havsa, Edirne. She completed her Master’s degree in the Department of Animation at the Institute of Fine Arts, Anadolu University in 2019, and her Proficiency in Art program in 2025. In her artistic practice, she brings together various disciplines such as illustration, 2D animation, stop motion, and mixed media, focusing on experimental forms of storytelling. Her short animated film “Coffee Ground” has been screened at numerous national and international festivals and receiving awards. In her recent works, she often explores the darker aspects of human nature, as well as themes of collective memory, silence, and violence, constructing her stories through atmospheric and often uncanny spaces. She continues her production as an independent artist.
