Dave Thorpe

Dave is a Toronto-based filmmaker originally from Ireland, specializing in the horror genre. Since moving to Canada in 2019, Dave has created numerous short films and is now making strides toward feature filmmaking. His sci-fi short Leap of Faith was acquired by both HBO and Disney+, while his horror short Guest House found a home with ALTER. His documentary Forerunner has reached new heights, becoming part of in-flight entertainment selections and most recently his horror short SCAM won the Twisted Smile award at Toronto Horror Film Festival
