Daniel Romero

Daniel Romero was born in Madrid in 1983. In 2010 he directed the fantasy short film FEARFUL JOHN that was selected in more than a hundred national and international film festivals and pre-selected for that year Goyas awards. In 2013 and 2016, he premiered the short movies DON’T LOOK THERE and CHANGE, two horror stories which successfully toured around more than 100 festivals in the world competing in Seattle International Film Festival –qualifying fest for the Oscar awards- and several European fantastic film festivals that give the Méliès d’ Argent award. SHE AND THE DARKNESS is his latest short in collaboration with Rubin Stein. Nowadays, he is combining the preparation for a feature film project- LAS HIJAS written by Asier Guerricaechebarría and awared in Sitges Pitchbox- and his work as part of the direction team of TV series.
