Dan Lopez

Dan is a filmmaker born and raised in Philadelphia. After graduating from Temple University with a degree in journalism, he spent exactly zero days as a journalist post-graduation. Instead, he opted to pursue his passion of video editing. After securing his first full-time job as an editor, Dan moved to Austin, TX in order to hone his craft. While in Austin, Dan produced three short films where he served as director, director of photography, and editor. Currently, Dan works professionally as a lead editor and motion graphic artist for Catface Productions. Idolizing directors like Nobuhiko Obayashi, Bong Joon-ho, and Shinji Somai, Dan hopes to one day work on a project as fantastically outlandish as House. In the meantime, he's happy finding his own niche while supporting other artists in the film community.
