Adrian Bobb

Adrian Bobb is an award-winning writer and director based in Toronto, Canada. His films have been shown in over 50 festivals worldwide, including Sitges Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Urbanworld Film Festival, Blood in the Snow Film Festival, Toronto After Dark, and Hollyshorts International Film Festival. Adrian holds a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Regina (2008). He's an alumnus of Reelworld's E20 from 2019, the competitive Netflix-BANFF 'Diversity of Voices' Pitch Program in 2021, WarnerMedia's Access Canada Cohort in 2021, BITS Film Festival's Development Horror Lab in 2021, BIPOC TV & Film's Showrunner Bootcamp in 2022, OYA Media's Scale Up Immersive Lab in 2022, and Warren P. Sonada's Director's Masterclass in 2023. In the past couple of years Adrian has written and directed two episodes of 2024's "Creepy Bits: Season 2" on Hollywood Suite, one episode of Highball TV's God of Frogs Series, and this year you can look forward to Adrian's 5th short film, utilizing The Other End's Virtual Production Studio, named "Drifters" starring Samora Smallwood and Matt Murray. His award-winning 2022 short film, "The Fore-men," is also currently in development as a feature and can be seen on the DUST Network, which has garnered over 620K views. With an interest in all things science-related, Adrian has worked for Natural History museums, Universities, and educational programs in the past, and while his interests are primarily in genre storytelling (with a focus on science fiction), his inspirations always lie in the natural world.
