Synopsis
Un message audio sur WhatsApp commence et avec lui, une spirale descendante se déploie. La voix d'une femme sombrant dans une crise d'anxiété de santé entraine rapidement un labyrinthe complexe de peurs et d'émotions. The Spiral est une plongée dans un voyage solitaire, une escalade hypnotique vers l'enfance, la famille et la solitude du « foyer ». Le foyer a-t-il vraiment l'impression d'être chez soi ?
The Spiral (2022) is a 20 min horror short film by María Silvia Esteve. A WhatsApp audio begins, and with it, a downward spiral unfolds. Selected for Bolton International Film Festival (2022).
