Relics

Synopsis

A sick old woman, widow of a civil guard officer, who lives immersed in a psychotic-looking delirium, receives a visit from her granddaughter, Alicia, in the farmhouse where she lives. The meeting between the two women is marked from the beginning by the grandmother's hostility and triggers a growing accumulation of tensions related to the resurfacing of the sinister family past, which gives rise to a brutal confrontation between the two. The conflict will finally be settled with the revelation of the horrors that the grandmother had kept hidden for years.
