Synopsis

Logline: "Chasing a perfect selfie, an introvert faces the price of vanity through a transformative app." Dorian escapes his mundane life by scrolling through beautiful selfies on social media when an advertisement for an app called "Prettify" suddenly appears on his screen. Intrigued by the mysterious app's promise to enhance selfies, Dorian hesitates but ultimately decides to keep scrolling. However, after seeing a photo of a ruggedly handsome man, Dorian decides to take a selfie of his own. To his shock, this leads to a monstrous pimple appearing on his face. Desperate to fix the issue, he takes another selfie, only to make matters worse. As despair sets in, Dorian recalls the advertisement for "Prettify" and decides to give it a try. With the app, he captures a selfie that transforms him into a supermodel, but this transformation comes at a cost: it reveals his real face to be hideously disfigured. Paradoxically satisfied with his newfound beauty in the selfie, Dorian's descent into vanity pushes him to take even bolder steps. In a risqué move, he angles the camera towards his crotch, hinting at a more daring selfie. The snap captures a moment of audacity. But immediately after, he meets the camera's gaze, his eyes wide with a mix of surprise, regret, and a hint of bewilderment — as if waking from a trance and questioning his own actions.
