Synopsis
Selon une vieille croyance thaïlandaise, il faut qu’une vierge plante de la citronnelle dans le sol pour éloigner la pluie. Entre mise en scène et documentaire, cette métafiction suit la jeune Piano qui a pour mission de garder au sec le plateau de tournage du nouveau film sur lequel elle travaille.
Lemongrass Girl (2021) is a 17 min drama short film by Pom Bunsermvicha. According to Thai superstition, a virgin can ward off rain by planting lemongrass upside-down underneath an open sky. Selected for Bolton International Film Festival (2021).
