Synopsis

Durant les mois fervents nationalistes qui précèdent la Seconde Guerre mondiale, un adolescent rebelle est transféré dans une nouvelle école primaire dans une petite ville de la mer intérieure. Il rivalise avec le tyran régnant de l’école, qui s’intéresse romantiquement à sa demi-sœur aînée. Lorsqu’ils apprennent qu’elle va être vendue à un bordel pour payer les dettes de son père, ils forment une alliance difficile pour la libérer.
